Nikhil Nanda has opened up about his daughter Navya Naveli’s career plans after she graduated from IIM Ahmedabad.

Navya, who comes from a prominent film family, has decided to pursue a career in business alongside her father.

In an exclusive interview with Shrishti Sahu’s podcast, the Chairman and Managing Director of Escorts Kubota Limited shared that Navya’s surname does not guarantee her a powerful position in the company.

He also emphasised that it is important for his daughter to earn her position through hard work and dedication.

Speaking about his daughter’s interest in the family business, he said, “Navya is now showing willingness to participate more and more in EKL. But just because her last name is Nanda does not give her the right to get a position. She has to earn her position, which I think she will do on her own.”

“For her to do what she will do as day-to-day operations of EKL is for her to carve her path based on her appreciation and impact. It really is up to her.”

For the unversed, Navya officially graduated from the Indian Institute of Management  Ahmedabad in May 2026 and is currently working with Nikhil Nanda at Escorts Kubota Limited.
