A viral video continued to spark discussion online after a Gurugram-based company ended the employment of a staff member linked to the controversy.

The issue gained attention after clips from a comedy show circulated on social media. In the video, Himanshu Jangra made remarks that drew criticism from many users, who described the comments as inappropriate and disrespectful toward women.

As the backlash grew, Jangra reportedly apologized and deactivated his Instagram account.

Soon after, Starvik Design announced that it had decided to part ways with him. The company’s founder, Vivek Vishwakarma, shared a statement explaining the decision.

He said, “The statements shown in those clips are offensive. They are not something I agree with. They are not something our company stands for.”

Vishwakarma also said the company reviewed the matter internally and spoke with team members regarding Jangra’s conduct at work.

“We could not find a single complaint against him from our team. The team described him as professional, respectful, hardworking, and well-behaved at work,” he stated.

“That’s why we have decided to part ways with Himanshu,” he said.

In the same statement, Vishwakarma said people should be held accountable for their actions but should also be given a chance to learn from their mistakes.

“A person can make a terrible mistake. A person should face consequences. But I hope we never become a society that believes people cannot learn, reflect, apologise, or change,” he wrote.

The statement generated further discussion online. While some users focused on the company’s decision to terminate Jangra, others reacted to Vishwakarma’s comments about reflection and personal growth.
