Alia Bhatt’s upcoming film Alpha stormed social media with its teaser ahead of  July's release.

The film had been under wraps with no visual in the form of character look or poster out yet, so the first glimpse was received with much excitement.

The YRF’s next spy thriller presents a highly classified program designed to train India’s next generation of elite soldiers for high-risk assignments and life-threatening challenges.

The clip showcases the 33-year-old actress in several intense action sequences. It also hints that her training began at a young age under the guidance of Bobby Deol’s character, as her father.

Directed by Shiv Rawail, this film also stars Sharvari in a key role besides Alia, but her absence from the teaser left the internet talking.

With the preview dropped netizens have been divided, some praising the action glimpses while some not only criticising but also trolling the lead character.

However, several Bollywood celebrities have come forward to support Alia and cheer for the film. Among them are Shah Rukh Khan, Amitabh Bachchan, Kiara Advani, Vedang Raina, Aneet Padda, Ahaan Panday, and her mother-in-law, Neetu Kapoor.

Kiara shared the Alpha teaser on her Instagram stories and wrote, "This looks SO good! @aliabhatt you are phenomenal, @iambobbydeol

Can’t wait to see @sharvari and @anilskapoor."

Aneet Padda wrote, "MY SUPERHERO LOOKS LIKE SHE IS READY TO TAKE THE WORLD BY STORM YET AGAIN, I CANNOT WAIT!”

Ahaan Pnaday also reacts to the teaser by  writing, "BOOM Unreal"

Alia's mother-in-law and actress Neetu Kapoor praises the teaser as, "Ufff (with fire and clapping emojis)."

While Vedang Raina said, "My favourites @aliabhatt @sharvari LOOKING TOO GOOD."

Directed by Shiv Rawail, Alpha also stars Sharvari and is being billed as the first female-led film in the YRF Spy Universe. It is due for release on 3 July 2026.
