After a shocking cat fight video went viral on social media, Haya Ali has finally broken her silence.

Taking to X, formerly Twitter, on June 10, social media users speculated that the girls fighting in the video at a Cafe are allegedly popular influencer and actress Romaisa Khan and Instagrammer Haya.

Now, Haya has taken to Instagram and released a statement, detailing some information behind the shocking incident.

In the statement, she gave her followers a glimpse into the incident, sharing that it occurred during the launch of another business.

"I briefly went to a nearby coffee shop to get some fresh air and cool down. While I was there, a woman, whom I identify as Rumessa Khan, entered the premises with her sister," she began.

"From my perspective, an argument took place during which she attempted to push me and then slapped me," she further revealed. "I reacted in what I believe was self defense."

In her message she revealed that the videos being shared online do not provide full context of what had happened prior to the fight.

She went on to express her disappointment, saying, "I am deeply disappointed by the attempts to portray the situation without the complete facts."

Haya also said that this incident shared without the facts has been quite damaging to her reputation and urged her fans and followers to not jump to conclusions based on a short clip shared online.

She also revealed that she will be taking legal action against statements that have harmed her reputation.

Haya concluded the post revealing that she was attacked first and she stands against physical violence.

"I firmly believe that resorting to physical violence is unacceptable," she stated.
