Indian filmmaker Anubhav Sinha shared his review of the upcoming film Main Vaapas Aaunga and praised the work of director Imtiaz Ali.

He had posted on Instagram and expressed his thoughts about the film and the current condition of the film industry. He said that filmmakers were facing pressure in today’s environment, but Imtiaz Ali continued to stand out with strong creative work.

In his post, he wrote, “Imtiaz, my friend, so so so happy to see Main Vapas Aaunga.”

He further added, “In times when film directors are getting ruthlessly stripped of the most vital virtue of their art form, every frame of your film is soaked in belief.”

He also said, “It shatters every myth of what the audience likes and wants and stands firm on its soul.”

The Ra.One director had also praised the emotional depth of the film and said it carried strong storytelling and artistic value.

The film Main Vaapas Aaunga featured actors including Diljit Dosanjh, Naseeruddin Shah, Sharvari, and Vedang Raina.

It was scheduled to release in cinemas on June 12.

Earlier, Anubhav Sinha had also spoken about modern filmmaking and said that commercial cinema was losing moral responsibility, adding that earlier films focused more on values and respect.
