Colin Farrell has teased the nature and tone of Batman Part II.

The 50-year-old Irish actor, who will be reprising his role as Cobb Oz aka the Penguin in the upcoming DC movie.

In a recent interview with Collider, Colin spoke exclusively about the Matt Reeves film, while unveiling the shooting schedule.Coli

According to the Oscar-nominated actor, ‘he will be flying to London in four or five weeks.’

“I haven’t got much to do on it, but I’ll go for four or five weeks. I’ll be there for a few weeks. I’m so excited to see it as a fan”, said the Penguin actor.

While talking about the tone of the movie, Farrell added that it’s a mix of everything as in it is dark, terrifying and nuanced.

He told the publication, “[Matt Reeves] wrote, not only tonally, a really kind of dark and at times terrifying piece, and not only psychologically weighty and nuanced, but really feeling. It’s a really... There’re moments in it. It’s full of feeling.”

Farrell marked his debut as Penguin in the 2022 movie also directed by Matt. He later got his standalone HBO show named The Penguin. 

Robert Pattinson is all set to return as Batman for the new sequel. He will be joined with the OGs namely Andy Serkis, Jeffery Wright, and Colin.

Meanwhile, Sebastian Stan and Scarlett Johannson has also joined the star cast. Allegedly Barry Keoghan will also be starring as Joker in Batman II, slated to release on October 1, 2027.
