Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar has revealed his retirement plans in a candid interview.

The actor has had a successful career spanning through multiple decades with many blockbusters and he has no plans to slow down.

The 58-year-old, who is now starring in upcoming Welcome To The Jungle, spoke at the trailer launch of the movie in Mumbai and responded to the reports of him quitting acting.

He said “I do feel like retiring sometimes; this thought comes to me at 4 am when I wake up. But in five seconds, I remember I have to be on a shoot, where 300 people are waiting for me.”

The Welcome star added “Then I tell myself I will think about retirement the next day; 36 years have passed doing this. If I retire, what will happen.”

Akshay said “I hate the word ‘Retire’. One should retire five minutes before dying.”

He said if he retired, he would stay at home and become a skilled worker but not sit idly.

The event was attended by his castmates Jackie Shroff, Arshad Warsi, Disha Patani, Jacqueline Fernandez, Tusshar Kapoor, Yashpal Sharma, Johny Lever and more.
