As Main Vaapas Aaunga opened for audiences, Indian actress Sharavi shared her thoughts about the project and her experience of being part of it.

She took to Instagram and posted a series of pictures from the film's journey. Along with the photos, she spoke about her connection to the story and the character she portrayed.

She wrote, “Today, a film very close to my heart is now in theatres for you all to experience! #MainVaapasAaunga always had a pure beating heart at its core whether it was while reading the script or living each moment as Jiya… A story about love and longing that transcends boundaries, time & memories.”

The Alpha actress further added, “I’m incredibly proud of this film and I’m excited to share this journey with the world today! #MainVaapasAaunga in cinemas now.”

The photos shared by Sharvari included moments with actor Vedang Raina, a visit to the Golden Temple, and behind-the-scenes glimpses from the film. One image also showed filmmaker Imtiaz Ali during production.

The film tells the story of two lovers whose relationship is challenged by the partition. Main Vaapas Aaunga released in cinemas on June 12.
