American pop singer Ariana Grande has publicly condemned the White House after officials used her song in a TikTok video promoting immigration enforcement actions.

Ariana, who is currently on her Eternal Sunshine tour right now, responded to the officials using her song Bye in a recent video.

The video, posted by the White House account, featured clips of ICE and other federal officers carrying out arrests while the singer’s 2024 track from her last album played in the background.

The caption red “Bye-bye President Trump has delivered the most secure border in history.”

The 32-year-old responded sharply in the comments section, writing: “Please do not ever use my music in relation to this barbaric, inhumane, heinous nonsense.”

The music has since been muted in the video while the post is still up.

The singer’s reaction places her among several musicians who have objected to politicians and political organizations using their music without approval, particularly in connection with immigration policy and campaign messaging.

Previously, Sabrina Carpenter called out White House for using her song Juno in a video.
