Charlie Sheen has briefed his struggles of quitting alcohol during his addiction days.

The 60-year-old legend, who is known to be the highest paid actor in Hollywood, has had an ugly history related to alcohol consumption and drug abuse.

He even got fired from his popular show Two and a Half Men as Charlie allegedly abused the creator Chuck Lorre under influence of alcohol.

While recalling his time when he was trying to quit this habit, the Scary Movie star said that he found it difficult to quit drinking than getting off drugs.

During an interview at the Joe Rogan Experience, Sheen opened, “I'd gotten off the drugs. Gotten off the dope. When I say dope, that's always coke. I was never a heroin guy”

He confessed, “I'd been off that for probably over 10 years, and I was just committed to drinking. Then I found that to be the most unmanageable drug that I've ever tried to navigate.”

According to the Platoon actor, he had a hard time quitting alcohol as it was something which was easily accessible “because there's never a time when you can't get it.”

“When I made the decision that I was just going to drink, I treated it like I did drugs. But it's very accepted and very socially ingrained. It's always Miller time”, Charlie said.

The American actor was part of Two and a Half Men from 2003 till 2011. He starred alongside Jon Cryer and Angus T. Jones.
