Influencer and nurse Jen Hamilton has sparked concern among followers after sharing a tearful video on social media in which she appeared to hint at a painful breakup.

In the now-deleted post shared on Saturday June 13 Hamilton wrote that she was “absolutely devastated” and asked followers not to contact anyone on her behalf.

“My heart is absolutely shattered” she wrote adding “He broke my heart but I still love him with all the pieces.”

In the video Hamilton said she was struggling emotionally and expressed a desire to speak to her “future healed self” saying she hoped to feel better in the future.

“I just want the healed version of myself to come and tell me that it’s going to be okay,” she said while crying.

Hamilton who is a labour and delivery nurse and author of Birth Vibes: Stories and Strategies for an Empowered Birth shares two children with her husband Brian whom she married in 2012.

While she did not explicitly confirm a separation her caption led many followers to assume she may be going through a divorce or breakup.

In comments under the post before it was removed some followers expressed concern and offered support while others asked for clarification about what had happened.

The video has since been deleted but continued discussion about it has circulated among fans on her recent posts with many encouraging her to focus on her wellbeing.

One user wrote: "I understand why you deleted your last post. I have been where I think you might be. There is such an amazing future for you that’s out of sight. One day soon you’ll know how much more than enough you are and you’ll surround yourself with people who agree. And one day someone will hold your heart with the tenderness you hold theirs. You do have an internet family and we adore you."

Another fan offered support by writing: "Day 2 (heart emoji) you are enough. You are loved, cherished and carried by your community. Take the next breath, the next step. Accept the help, support and love while you grieve. I so wish I could give you the warmest hug right now. (kiss emoji)
