New memoir has made claims related to the death of right wing political speaker Charlie Kirk.

The book claims that the US President Donald Trump learned about the shooting of Kirk through his son before anyone else could inform him.

Before White House advisers could fully verify details surrounding the fatal shooting, Trump’s youngest child Barron Trump informed him of the incident, according to a new book by journalists Maggie Haberman and Jonathan Swan.

The book reads “Trump’s youngest son, Barron, had already called to tell his father that Kirk had been shot.”

Kirk, who was a vocal supporter of Trump, was shot in the neck at a University event while he was debating with the students present there.

A Signal group chat with Kirk, Donald Trump Jr. and JD Vance, among others, was informed about the shooting, as per the book which was released this week.

White House deputy chief of staff Taylor Budowich reportedly started to call hospitals in the city to get information on Kirk’s status before informing the president.

Trump, meanwhile, was meeting in the Oval Office with Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick.
