The people who are heading to watch Alpha this weekend and planning to sit through the credits hoping for a surprise will meet a little disappointment.

Because there is no post-credit scene. The film wraps up its story cleanly, before the credits even begin. So once it's done, means it's over.

That might catch a few YRF Spy Universe fans off guard, given how these films usually love to tease what's coming next. 

But Alpha apparently decided to let the story breathe on its own without tagging anything on at the end.

The film itself, directed by Shiv Rawail, is already making noise for the right reasons. 

It's the first female-led entry in the YRF Spy Universe, with Alia Bhatt and Sharvari playing elite intelligence operatives on a high-stakes mission. 

Bobby Deol is the villain, Anil Kapoor has a key role, and Hrithik Roshan shows up as Major Kabir Dhaliwal, a moment that's apparently been getting loud cheers in theatres.

Early reactions online have been warm, with viewers pointing to the chemistry between Alia and Sharvari, the action sequences and the background score as standout elements.

So there it is, no end-credit scene, no hidden teaser, no reason to sit through the full credits. Everything Alpha has to offer plays out before they roll.
