Jon Pardi and Summer Pardi are parting ways with love and respect after 5 years of marriage.

Jon and Summer, who share two daughters, Presley Fawn and Sienna Grace, announced their divorce through an Instagram post.

“After much thought, we have made the difficult decision to end our marriage,” the pair wrote in a joint post. “Our daughters will always remain our highest priority and we are committed to moving forward with love and respect as co-parents.”

They added, “Thank you so much for your understanding, support, and respect as we navigate these changes as a family.”

The news was followed by Jon’s Instagram Stories, where he shares with fans that he is taking “some time away from social media to focus on myself and my family.”

“Thanks to you all for the love and support,” he added. “My team will handle posting for the time being. I'll see you at the shows.”

As Jon's Honkytonk Hollywood tour continues through to its scheduled finale in December, news of the couple's split emerged just minutes after Summer shared snippets of her daily routine with their daughters on social media.

In one Instagram Story, she posted a video of one of her daughters playing on the floor of a gym, writing, "Someone woke up early. It's okay, we're still gonna get after it." 

She later gave followers a glimpse of the devotional books she uses as part of her daily faith practice.
