With just days left before its theatrical release, Dhamaal 4 received clearance from the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) after a few changes were made to the film.

According to reports, the comedy film was given a U/A 13+ certificate. No scenes were removed during the certification process. However, two obscene hand gestures were modified, while seven objectionable words were replaced before the film received approval.

Reports also stated that the CBFC issued the certificate on July 2 after the required changes had been completed. The film was said to have a runtime of 2 hours and 23 minutes.

Directed by Indra Kumar, Dhamaal 4 marked the return of the popular comedy franchise. The film featured Ajay Devgn, Riteish Deshmukh, Arshad Warsi and Jaaved Jaaferi in lead roles.

Earlier, Arshad Warsi had spoken about reuniting with the cast. He said, “Dhamaal gang is like a family to me. It is always good to collaborate with each one of them and this time we all are going to explode together in a much more larger way and take people on a laugh ride.”

Ajay Devgn had also shared an update after the film's shoot was completed. He wrote, “Aaj ki taaza khabar, brought to you by the gang, jo ab jald hi lootne aa rahe hain aapka dil… aur dimaag! #Dhamaal4 arrives in cinemas on Eid 2026.”

The makers had earlier announced the release date and said, “Get ready to laugh till it hurts! #Dhamaal4 storms theatres on Eid 2026, don’t miss the madness!”

Dhamaal 4 was scheduled to release in cinemas on July 10.
