In true Beyoncé fashion, the superstar caught fans off guard with an unforgettable surprise song release which sent fans all over into a frenzy.

Marking the Fourth of July, the 44-year-old music icon treated fans to a surprise new song "Morning Dew (Donk)."

Since the release of her critically acclaimed 2024 album Cowboy Carter, the Grammy-winning music icon has kept her fans on the edge of their seats, anticipating when she will release another hit.

"Morning Dew (Donk)," Beyoncé's first new song in two years, was written by the singer alongside Pharrell Williams, The-Dream and Darius Dixon, with production handled by Beyoncé and Pharrell Williams.

The release is intended as a tribute to Beyoncé's dedicated BeyHive, ahead of the highly anticipated celebration of B'Day.

Fans took to X, reacting to the musical drop, with one saying, "Oh my days! She has starved us so badly. Gonna enjoy myself this weekend listening to Morning Dew."

Beyoncé revealed in a press release that the surprise release kicks off a 60-day countdown to both her upcoming birthday and the reissue of B'Day, her landmark 2006 second album.

Upon its 2006 release, B'Day earned Beyoncé her second No. 1 album, opening with 541,196 copies sold in its first week after launching globally on September 4 and in the U.S. on September 5.
