Veteran filmmaker Singeetham Srinivasa Rao is back with his newish directorial work Sing Geetham and it is set to start streaming pretty soon.

Produced by Nag Ashwin this musical fantasy is sorta getting ready to roll out to a wider audience via its OTT premiere. The film made heads turn especially because it marks the legendary filmmaker’s return to direction at the age of 94, after all these years.

So according to the latest update this film will start streaming on Netflix from July 9 2026. The OTT release will also bring Kannada and Malayalam versions there along with the original languages so it feels a bit more expansive in that sense.

Sing Geetham is basically the 61st directorial venture of Singeetham Srinivasa Rao and it feels like a continuation in spirit. The movie is placed within a fictional kingdom called Kuberapura.

The cast features newcomers Ayaan, Ahilya Bamroo and Shalini Kondepudi in pivotal roles. The film's music was composed by Devi Sri Prasad.

The narrative follows Pratap played by Ayaan , and he goes back to his ancestral village after his father’s death trying to grab what he believes is his inheritance.

Instead, he gets pulled into this rough tussle meant to save what’s left of the village tree. Gowri portrayed by Ahilya Bamroo is convinced that that tree is kind of the spiritual center of Kuberapura.

Yet, Renu played by Shalini Kondepudi, along with her father go ahead and tear down the sacred tree all while they chase mining work.
