Vishnu Vishal and Aishwarya Lekshmi’s Gatta Kusthi 2 has just finished the first phase of it’s theatrical journey and now it is getting ready for its OTT release or so it seems.

The sports comedy sequel showed up in cinemas on July 3, 2026 and it’s doing a pretty decent box office business too.

Netflix actually announced earlier that it had scooped up the post-theatrical streaming rights for the film. After the theatrical run finishes Gatta Kusthi 2 will start streaming on the platform.

The movie will be accessible in Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, Malayalam and Kannada. Right now, there isn’t an official date yet to reveal so no formal day has been unveiled.

According to trade estimates by Sacnilk, the movie brought in an estimated Rs 6.20 crore (India net) on Day 3. This indicates a 25.3% jump from the Rs 4.95 crore that it earned the day before.

The third day collections were pulled in from almost 2,400 shows all over India. The film cumulative India net collection has now gone up to Rs 13.85 crore while its India gross collection comes in at Rs 15.93 crore.

The sequel keeps going with the journey of Veera which is played by Vishnu Vishal and Keerthi portrayed by Aishwarya Lekshmi. It kind of continues the events from the original movie like afterwards.
