Alia Bhatt and Sharvari’s spy thriller Alpha scored well at the box office during its opening weekend.

The action drama received quite mixed reviews from viewers, and social media has been filled with extremely good and extremely bad reactions. 

Still, the movie managed to mint Rs 57 crore in three days.

As the film is currently in its theatrical run, attention has shifted to its digital release, with fans wanting to know when and where it will make its OTT debut.

Before the film’s release date was even announced, Netflix had offered a Rs 215 crore deal to the makers on the condition that they skip the theatrical release.

However, YRF rejected the offer and went ahead with its long-standing cinema-first strategy.

Reportedly, the production house refused to accept the proposal, highlighting that the film was specifically designed for the big-screen experience.

However, after the failed deal, the movie is expected to arrive on Netflix after wrapping up its theatrical run.

Though the makers have not made any announcement regarding the film’s streaming date, the studio is expected to follow its usual release strategy.
