Anshula Kapoor has stepped into a new phase of her life with husband Rohan Thakkar after tying the knot on July 6, 2026, in the presence of their loved ones.

The couple tied the knot in an intimate ceremony held at Mumbai's Taj Lands End, attended by close family members and dear friends.

Anshula is the sister of actor Arjun Kapoor and the daughter of Boney Kapoor and his first wife, Mona Kapoor.

As she celebrated the biggest day of her life, the 35-year-old not only remembered her late mother by displaying a portrait of her beside the wedding stage, but also honoured her through a special connection with her bridal outfit.

Taking to Instagram on Tuesday, the entrepreneur by profession posted a bunch of unseen photos of herself as a bride. Alongside revealing the details of her look, she also disclosed the touching tribute she paid to her mother, Mona Kapoor.

While planning her bridal look, her only preference was to keep her mother's memory close to her on one of the most important days of her life.

Anshula wrote, “There was only one thing I knew I wanted to carry with me when I became a bride - my mom’s 42-year-old gold tissue & zardozi dupatta. Everything else was built around it. On a day that marked the beginning of a new family, it felt right to be wrapped in the one that raised me first."

She also praised designer Tarun Tahiliani and revealed that every detail of her bridal ensemble was thoughtfully designed around the heirloom that held the deepest emotional significance for her.

Her bridal look was a beautiful mixture of multiple traditional crafts from across India, featuring intricate Kashida embroidery layered with rich zari work, a Bandhani Gharchola dupatta as a tribute to the family she was marrying into, and a colour palette of antique rose, blush, and muted gold.

The ensemble was completed with delicate Phulkari borders, honouring her Punjabi roots and adding a deeply personal touch to her wedding attire.
