The first song from Awarapan 2 sparked discussion online soon after its release, with social media users sharing different opinions about the track.

Titled Ve Junoon, the song was released by the makers on Tuesday. It was composed by Mithoon and sung by Subodhh Sharma. The video featured actor Emraan Hashmi alongside actress Disha Patani.

Soon after the song was released, many users shared their reactions on Reddit. While some appreciated the music, others compared it with the songs from the original Awarapan.

One Reddit user wrote, “I swear a couple of times I thought they will start singing, 'Saiyaara tu toh'.”

Another user commented, “The song is really mid bro. Compared to Emraan Hashmi's playlist.”

A different user also shared views about the lead pair's appearance on screen. The comment read, “The stark difference between Shriya Saran and Disha Patani’s screen presence is just soo crazy!!”
