Rapper Nicki Minaj attended the lunch at White House Rose Garden where she received a shoutout from the president.
US President Donald Trump shared words of appreciation and praise for the musician who has been a vocal Trump supporter in the past year.
During the lunch on Monday, July 6, the president praised Nicki in his speech.
The 80-year-old said “We also have a woman that is so respected and so hot and so great and such a great friend of, I don’t say conservative, I say of common sense.”
He continued “She’s a fantastic person and she’s a woman that’s respected by everybody and she’s got real talent: Nicki Minaj.”
Nicki shared snaps from the evening on her social media calling herself “#WhiteHouseBarbie”.
The rapper also supported late Charlie Kirk’s widow Erika Kirk at Turning Point USA’s annual convention.
As per the musician, Trump has given “hope” to so many people.
The Super Bass singer received Trump’s Gold Card, which granted her US citizenship.
