Emraan Hashmi has introduced singer Subodhh Sharma with the release of Ve Junoon, the first song from the upcoming film Awarapan 2.

The romantic track features Hashmi alongside Disha Patani and offers a glimpse into the film's emotional storyline, while also serving as Sharma's debut voice in the franchise. The song is composed by Mithoon, with lyrics by Sayeed Quadri.

Alongside the release, producer Vishesh Bhatt and Hashmi shared a heartfelt message reflecting on the legacy of the original Awarapan soundtrack and welcoming its newest voice.

"With Awarapan, we gave you Mustafa Zahid. With Awarapan 2, we give you Subodhh Sharma. Same instinct, same belief. Mithoon's music and Sayeed sahab's words found a fresh voice, as it should be. This one's yours, Subodhh. #VeJunoon #Awarapan2."

The message acknowledged the enduring popularity of the original film's music while introducing Sharma as the latest addition to the franchise's musical legacy.

Presented by Vishesh Films and producer Mukesh Bhatt, Awarapan 2 is directed by Nitin Kakkar and written by Bilal Siddiqi.

The film also stars Shabana Azmi, Suvinder Vicky, Vijayant Kohli, Atul Kumar and Aniruddh Rawal in key roles. It is set to continue the emotional and musical legacy established by the 2007 original.
