Actor Deepika Padukone has broken her social media silence with a new collaboration post, her first in almost three months, and fans couldn't keep calm.

The 40-year-old diva shared a reel on Tuesday featuring an advertisement for a global hotel chain that drew mixed reactions from netizens.

Many expressed their relief after seeing an end to her social media drought, while her little baby bump also got some fans talking.

The Om Shanti Om actress last posted in April to announce that she was expecting her second child with husband Ranveer Singh. Their daughter, Dua Padukone Singh, was seen holding a pregnancy test kit with a positive sign.

Since that announcement, the Padmaavat actress had been completely off social media. 

However, during this time, she was seen filming with Shah Rukh Khan for the upcoming film King in leaked clips.

The Ram Leela star also recently visited her newly under-construction home in Mumbai, where she and Ranveer were spotted checking and discussing the progress in a pleasant mood.

Meanwhile, almost three months later, when she shared her first Instagram post, fans reached the comment section in no time.

Many fans welcomed her back and also joked that she had finally got her Instagram password back.

One fan wrote, “wow you found your Instagram password,” while another blamed her social media manager, “deepika’s social media manager finally woke up.”

A comment read, “We got a Deepika post before GTA 7,” Another user wrote, “Deepika posting on social media after ages feels like spotting rare comet. The notification alone deserves a celebration because who knows when we’ll get the next one.”

In the advertisement, the  Jawan actor is seen in a blue pantsuit, with her baby bump visible. According to an HT report, Deepika shot the campaign when she was four months pregnant.

On the film front, the Chhapaak actress will next be seen in Shah Rukh Khan's King. The film is scheduled for release on December 24. She will also be seen in Atlee's Raaka, in which she stars opposite Allu Arjun.
