Kriti Sanon reveals her real relationship with food: 'I live to eat'
The 'Cocktail 2' star shares her approach to fitness
Kriti Sanon has opened up about her views on cheat days and whether she believes they are necessary for maintaining fitness.
During a recent appearance on the Humans of Bombay show with Karishma Mehta, the 35-year-old Indian actress clarified that she does not feel the need to have cheat days in her everyday life unless she is preparing for a character role.
"I don’t need to cheat. I eat everything. Unless and until I’m shooting for Cocktail 2, where I can’t," Sanon said.
Talking about her love for food, she added, "Otherwise, I'm a bit of a chatora. I live to eat. I love food. I love North Indian Punjabi food. I love street food—golgappe, chaat, my mouth is watering. Momos. I love Thai. I love Chinese. I have pizzas. Should we forget to have that tiramisu? It’s left in the fridge. Damn."
Elsewhere in the podcast, the Do Patti star revealed that she froze her eggs while preparing to take on the role of a pregnant woman in Mimi, where she portrayed a surrogate mother.
"I froze my eggs. Very smartly, I did it during that time when I had to gain weight for Mimi. It makes you bloat, and I was anyway gaining weight," she noted.
Sanon explained that the idea had stayed with her after someone told her egg freezing could be "the best gift" she could give herself.
On the professional front, the actress is currently celebrating the success of Cocktail 2 alongside her co-stars Shahid Kapoor and Rashmika Mandanna, which has reportedly grossed ₹162.28 crore worldwide in 17 days.
