NFL star Travis Kelce tied the knot with pop star Taylor Swift last week in a grand event.

The athlete opened up about their special engagement in a recent episode of his podcast with his brother Jason Kelce, New Heights.

While speaking on the episode, which featured NFL legend Tom Brady, on Wednesday, July 8, Travis lifted the lid on his proposal before the duo announced their engagement in August 2025.

Travis revealed that the proposal right after Taylor made an appearance on the podcast few days before the announcement came.

“Starting it with Taylor, pretty epic. During that recording the entire time, I’m planning, like, I’m gonna ask this woman to marry me after,” Travis said.

This was a long-standing theory made by the pair’s fans which was finally confirmed by Travis himself.

The duo tied the knot almost a year later in July 2026 in New York’s iconic venue Madison Square Garden on July 3.

The wedding was attended by many A-Listers as well as people who worked with Taylor on her Eras tour.
