Aamir Khan and Gauri Spratt are once again making headlines, as Gauri’s beautiful and unique wedding ring has become the talk of the town after their intimate ceremony.

The 61-year-old actor, who has recently entered into his third marriage with Spratt, gifted a exquisite ring to the love of his life.

According to Times of India, the ring features a rare, naturally occurring cabochon-cut ruby sourced from Madagascar. The gemstone is set in a gold ring with a crown-inspired design and is adorned with forty natural diamonds.

The report further claimed that the actor searched for the perfect ruby for nearly three months, as fewer than 0.1% of rubies are believed to be of exceptional quality.

Moreover, the ring was reportedly crafted by 131 skilled artisans and took more than 256 hours to complete.

It is pertinent to mention that this is not the first masterpiece the 3 Idiots star has gifted Gauri. He had previously presented her with a ring featuring a Brazilian aquamarine surrounded by forty natural diamonds.

This comes on the heels of the newlyweds tying the knot on Sunday, July 5, in an intimate ceremony at Aamir’s Pali Hill residence in Bandra, Mumbai.

For the occasion, the bride wore a muted lehenga by Sabyasachi Mukherjee, adorned with intricate white floral embroidery.

She accessorised her bridal look with a sheer dupatta and floral jewellery embellished with emerald stones.
