Dune: Part Three has unveiled another trailer, offering a darker look at the final chapter of Denis Villeneuve’s epic sci-fi saga.

The new footage centres on the growing rift between Timothée Chalamet’s Paul Atreides and Zendaya’s Chani. 

Confronting Paul over his rise to power, Chani reminds him, “You promised me you would never take power in your name,” signalling the emotional fallout from the events of the previous film.

The trailer also sees Jason Momoa return as Duncan Idaho, who declares that the Lisan al-Gaib has “conquered the galaxy” and “destroyed thousands of worlds.”

Meanwhile, Florence Pugh’s Princess Irulan is shown confronting Robert Pattinson’s Scytale over his intentions for a “regime change,” which she bluntly interprets as an attempt to kill Paul. “Idiot,” she tells him. “You’ve just signed our death warrants.”

Elsewhere, the trailer offers brief glimpses of Anya Taylor-Joy’s blood-covered Alia Atreides, Paul and Chani’s twin children, and a dramatic closing shot of Chani summoning a sandworm.

Inspired by Frank Herbert’s Dune Messiah, Dune: Part Three is set 17 years after the events of Dune: Part Two and explores the consequences of Paul’s reign as emperor, as his once-clear visions of the future become increasingly clouded.

The film is scheduled to open in theatres on December 18, 2026.
