Justin Bieber appears to be fully embracing his return to the stage after joining the star-studded lineup for the FIFA World Cup final halftime show.

On Wednesday, July 8, football's governing body confirmed that the 32-year-old Canadian singer will be part of the lineup for the highly anticipated final.

In addition to Bieber, BTS, Madonna and Shakira are also set to perform during the 11-minute halftime show on July 19 at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey.

Shortly after FIFA announced the lineup, the Baby hitmaker expressed his excitement at joining the world's biggest football event through music.

"The FIFA World Cup brings the world together in a way nothing else can. I'm grateful to be part of this halftime show, and even more grateful knowing it's already helping expand access to education for children around the world," he stated, explaining his decision in a statement.

Also joining the halftime lineup are Chris Martin of Coldplay, the Muppets (including Kermit and Miss Piggy), Burna Boy, conductor Gustavo Dudamel, and the PS22 Chorus from Staten Island, New York. The show is expected to raise $100 million for the FIFA Global Citizen Education Fund.
