Dakota Fanning couldn't contain her excitement after learning that she and her younger sister, Elle, had both received major nominations for the highly anticipated 78th Emmy Awards.

On Wednesday, July 8, the 32-year-old actress took to Instagram to celebrate the milestone the sisters achieved together.

“What an unbelievable morning for my family,” Dakota wrote alongside a photo of herself and Elle twinning as they sat side by side for a portrait.

She added, “The pride I feel at watching my sister shine is hard to put into words, and I also could not be prouder to be partners with her in Lewellen Pictures.”

The Uptown Girls star also expressed her gratitude to “the entire team behind Margo’s Got Money Troubles,” saying they “so deserve this recognition.”

In 2021, Dakota and Elle founded their own production company, Lewellen Pictures.

“I am so happy that audiences connected with her so deeply. I’m bursting with happiness. Thank you!!!!!” the Vicious actress concluded.

This year, Margo’s Got Money Troubles earned eight Emmy nominations, with Elle receiving a nod for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy Series.

Meanwhile, Dakota earned a nomination for Outstanding Supporting Actress for her portrayal of Jenny in All Her Fault.

The 78th Emmy Awards will air live on Monday, September 14. The ceremony will be hosted by Mariska Hargitay.
