Shakira has found love again with British actor Lucien Laviscount following her high-profile split from former footballer Gerard Piqué.

The Colombian singer confirmed her relationship with Laviscount earlier this year although the pair were first linked in 2024 after he appeared in the music video for her single Puntería.

Soon after the video’s release Shakira and Laviscount were spotted together in New York City and later appeared on each other’s social media accounts fuelling romance rumours.

According to reports the pair first met while filming the Puntería music video in 2024. Their professional collaboration eventually developed into a relationship.

Interestingly Shakira also met Piqué through a music video. The former couple first crossed paths while filming the promotional video for Waka Waka (This Time for Africa) the official anthem of the 2010 World Cup.

Laviscount is best known for playing Alfie in the hit Netflix series Emily in Paris.

The actor began his career on British television in the 2000s before gaining international recognition through the popular romantic comedy-drama.

His role in Emily in Paris helped make him a household name and introduced him to a global audience.

In addition to television Laviscount has built a growing film career, appearing in several movies since 2021.

Among his recent projects is the 2025 thriller Safe House where he landed a leading role.

Shakira and Laviscount have largely kept their relationship private but their public appearances and social media interactions have continued to attract attention from fans around the world.
