Anne Hathaway is no less than a “superhero” for carrying her pregnancy quietly and gracefully during The Devil Wears Prada 2 worldwide press tour.

The Oscar-winning actress had the internet go crazy after she announced her pregnancy on Instagram on Friday, June 19. Hathaway is expecting her third baby with husband Adam Shulman.

After the actress’s announcement, a source revealed to PEOPLE that Hathaway kept her pregnancy a secret during the worldwide press tour for The Devil Wears Prada 2 in April and May.

“She did her entire Devil Wears Prada 2 tour around the world quietly pregnant. Her work ethic is unbelievable,” the source shared. “She's a superhero.”

Earlier this year, Hathaway reunited with Meryl Streep, Stanley Tucci, and Emily Blunt, reprising her role as Andy Sachs from 2006's The Devil Wears Prada for a 2026 sequel.

The Les Misérables star had been having a busy year with the A24 musical drama Mother Mary in April and the fashion-drama sequel in May. But that’s not it for her.

Hathaway will be seen in two more projects this year, including The End of Oak Street and The Odyssey. Meanwhile, she is currently filming for the upcoming films Verity and Alone at Dawn.

“She's having the year of her career and now a baby,” the source added. “It's pretty incredible.”

Taking to Instagram on June 19, the Princess Diaries fame confirmed the news with a subtle reveal of her baby bump. 

Dressed in a flowing white outfit, Hathaway gently cradled her stomach while posing to camera. She captioned the post, “x Baby, I’m yours x,” set to Barbara Lewis’ Baby I’m Yours.
