Om Puri’s first wife drops bombshell about his extramarital affair
Om Puri was married to Seema Kapoor from 1990 to 1993
Late Indian legend Om Puri is one of the most celebrated artists of the industry but despite a great career, his personal life was marred with issues.
Now, years after the divorce, Om’s first wife Seema Kapoor is opening up about his infidelity.
The late star married filmmaker Seema, the sister of actor Annu Kapoor, in 1990 but their marriage ended in 1993.
Speaking to Hindi Rush, Seema claimed that the time their marriage entered a tough phase was when Om was romantically involved with another woman while she was pregnant with their child.
However, the child did not survive leaving Seema heartbroken who knew she would never marry again.
Seema added that her famous brother even insisted her to take legal action against Om but she refused to take matters in court.
Later, the Ardh Satya star apologised to her before his passing.
By the time of his death, Om’s marriage to his second wife Nandita Kapoor had allso collapsed.
In 2017, he passed away in Mumbai after suffering a heartattack.
