Parenting influencer Jamal Morton has shared the heartbreaking news that his 2-year-old daughter, Sadé Rose, has died after an accidental drowning at the family's Georgia home.

Morton, 33, who is known online as J'Amore announced the tragedy in emotional social media posts describing the devastating loss of his daughter.

“I lost my daughter. She thought she was a big girl and could swim all by herself. She walked out of the house and got into the pool, where she drowned,” Morton wrote on a GoFundMe page that has since been removed.

“Losing a child is a pain I wouldn’t wish on my worst enemy,” he added.

The Hall County Sheriff's Office confirmed to NBC News that deputies responded to a home in Hoschton on Sunday and that “there was a death at the residence, which appears to be accidental in nature.”

In a now-deleted TikTok video, Morton shared footage of Sadé Rose smiling as she celebrated her second birthday and paid tribute to his daughter.

“I hope heaven is real because I can’t imagine you being all alone by yourself. So God, if you’re real, please watch over my baby. Rest in peace, my sweet angel. Daddy loves you forever, Rose,” he wrote.

Morton also told followers he would be stepping away from social media to grieve the unimaginable loss.

His management team later confirmed the break in a Facebook statement announcing they would temporarily manage his social media accounts while he and his family mourn.

“Jamal will no longer be posting or responding to messages while he and his family take time to grieve the heartbreaking loss of their baby girl,” the statement said.

Before it was removed, the GoFundMe page also revealed the family planned to move from their home following the tragedy.

“Please send us home,” Morton wrote. “We have to move away because we can’t live in that house anymore, and I don’t think I’ll ever be able to work anytime soon.”
