But it was her husband Ajay Devgn's heartfelt birthday wish that stole the spotlight.

The 57-year-old star took to Instagram and shared a reel reflecting the 52-year-old actress' lighter side, who is famous for her infectious laughter and sense of humour.

The Singham actor also complimented her jolly side and wrote in the caption, "Turns out my best jokes have had the same audience all these years."

To wish her on her birthday, he simply wrote, "Happy birthday, @kajol."

Ajay and Kajol have worked together in several films, including Hulchul (1995), Gundaraj (1995), Ishq (1997), Pyaar To Hona Hi Tha (1998), Dil Kya Kare (1999), Raju Chacha (2000), U Me Aur Hum (2008), which marked Ajay's directorial debut, and Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior (2020).

The two tied the knot on February 24, 1999, in an intimate traditional ceremony at Ajay's Mumbai home.

The couple has two children, a daughter, Nysa Devgan, born on April 20, 2003, and a son, Yug Devgan, born on September 13, 2010.
