In a breathtaking display of talent and power, the Pakistan Under-19 cricket team secured a historic 191-run victory over arch-rivals India on Sunday to lift the 2025 Asia Cup trophy.

The final, held at the ICC Academy Ground, was defined by a record-shattering performance from opener Sameer Minhas, who propelled Pakistan to their first outright title in the tournament’s history.

After being put in to bat, Pakistan posted a massive total of 347/8. The star of the show, Sameer Minhas, played what many are calling the greatest innings in the tournament’s history.

Minhas smashed a sensational 172 off just 113 balls, an innings that included 17 fours and 9 sixes. Following the dismissal of his teammate Hamza Zahoor, the young batter took complete control reaching his century in only 71 deliveries.
