The Bollywood comedy Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon 2, headlined by comedian-actor Kapil Sharma, is scheduled for a theatrical re-release in January 2026 after its December run was constrained by limited screen availability amid stiff competition from other major films.

Produced by Ratan Jain under the banners of Venus Worldwide Entertainment and Star Studio18, the sequel initially hit cinemas on December 12, 2025.

While it received a warm response from audiences for its humor and nostalgic appeal, many theatres reduced its shows due to space taken by competing blockbusters, as per Bollywood Hungama.

In an exclusive interview, Jain made clear he does not blame multiplexes for the limited exposure, noting that bigger films often command more screens  and said an official re-release date would be revealed soon.

Directed by Anukalp Goswami, the comedy follows Kapil Sharma’s character as he navigates chaotic marital mishaps, continuing the light-hearted and family-friendly tone of the original 2015 film.

Industry analysts say the move reflects both the enthusiasm of fans and the challenges mid-tier films face at the box office when up against heavily marketed titles in the crowded holiday season.
