Canadian music icon Celine Dion is the newest star to join Tiktok which has been growing exponentially.

The legendary singer shared her first Tiktok after joining the platform.

The My Heart Will Go On singer shared a video on Monday, January 5 and explained her reason to do so.

Celine, who shares three sons with late husband Rene Angelil, said it was her sons who convinced her to join the site as it is considered “cool”.

The Grammy-winner said “My name is Celine. How old am I? I've got kids. They say, 'We have to get you on TikTok.' I'm like, on TikTok? I've heard that before but I'm suddenly getting cool.”

She continued “Celine Dion is cool. That's amazing. So TikTok, here I come. Ciao.”

The vidoe was shared with the caption “They told me, 'Celine, it's time...' I asked, 'Time for what?' Turns out... something completely new…”

In 2022, the singer revealed that she had been diagnosed with the neurological disorder stiff-person syndrome.

It is a rare autoimmune neurological disorder in which the person suffers from mucle rigidity and painful spasms.
