Quinton Aaron's wife issues heartbreaking health update from hospital
Quinton Aaron is now on life support
Quinton Aaron best known for playing Michael Oher in The Blind Side has been put on life support.
The 41-year-old was hospitalised after a fall at his home as his wife Margarita told TMZ on January 26.
He lost feeling in his legs and collapsed while walking up stairs according to her.
Doctors found a blood infection and are conducting further tests.
Margarita said Aaron is only partially using the life support equipment to breathe on his own.
She called him a “fighter” and said he is “showing a lot of improvement.”
Aaron previously faced health issues including a March 2025 hospitalisation for fever and bloody cough thought to be Type A flu and pneumonia.
In 2019 he was hospitalised for an upper respiratory infection and bronchitis flare-up.
Aaron later shared updates on his recovery after past illnesses including a video saying, “I’m out, everything is all good. I’m gonna go take my medicines… because I’m tired.”
No further details about his current condition have been released.
