Pakistani actress Laiba Khan shared pictures from her nikah ceremony on Tuesday, surprising fans on social media.
The ceremony took place at Masjid-e-Nabvi in Madinah. The event was kept private and attended by close family members.
Laiba wore a simple white abaya with light gold embroidery. She also carried a red dupatta with her husband’s name written on it.
The Aafat actress shared the pictures on Instagram with the caption “Jawad ki Dulhan.”
Laiba did not reveal her husband’s face in the photos. In a message shared with the post, she wrote,
“Bismillah — a prayer answered, a promise fulfilled. Our nikah, written by Allah Paak, in the city of peace and blessings. Remember us in your prayers. Mashallah Alhamdulillah.”
Soon after the post, fans filled the comment section with prayers and congratulatory messages. Some users expressed surprise, while others asked about the groom’s identity.
Laiba Khan gained popularity through her work in television dramas including Kaffara, Aas Paas, Humraaz, and Baylagaam.
Earlier, during an appearance on a private morning show, Laiba spoke about her career plans and said, “I just want to work, irrespective of whom I get to work with.”
She had not shared further details about her marriage at the time of filing this report.
