Eric Dane lingers in Janell Shirtcliff’s memories as she recollects the time they spent together.

After Grey Anatomy’s actor's death on Saturday, February 19, at the age of 53, his girlfriend gave a heartfelt look into their relationship. Janell shared several snaps on her Instagram Stories on February 21.

Janell shared intimate glimpses of her time with Dane, including a black-and-white shot of him smiling during a tattoo session.

Another snap of him showed Dane in a white T-shirt and tan cowboy hat, posing with a horse. The photographer, known for capturing stars like Post Malone, Jenna Ortega, and Dua Lipa, also posted tender PDA moments, one showing Eric planting a kiss on her head and a selfie of him leaning toward her shoulder.

Janell’s posts offered a heartfelt peek at Eric connecting with her child, who directed a playful photo shoot, instructing him to “look at mom” and “smile.”

Dane and Shirtcliff reportedly began dating in June, shortly after his ALS diagnosis. The couple appeared together at the Countdown premiere in Los Angeles, laughing and holding hands.

Despite the romance, Dane remained legally married to estranged wife Rebecca Gayheart, with whom he shares two daughters, Billie, 15, and Georgia, 14.
