Chuck Norris’ costars and Hollywood legends honor the martial artist and action star after he passed away on Friday, March 20, at the age of 86.

Among the tributes is one from the Hollywood action legend, Sylvester Stallone, who helmed Norris’s starring action film, The Expendables 2, in 2012.

“I had a great time working with Chuck. He was All American in every way. Great man and my condolences to his wonderful family,” Stallone wrote on Instagram.

Dolph Lundgren, who also starred in the film alongside Norris, took to Instagram to praise the action legend.

“Chuck Norris is the champ,” he wrote. “Ever since I was a young martial artist and later getting into movies, I always looked up to him as a role model. Someone who had the respect, humility and strength it takes to be a man. We will miss you, my friend.”

The martial artist-turned-action icon also left behind a lasting presence in the digital age, becoming the subject of countless viral memes and jokes, many of which were revisited by Stephen King in tribute posts on X.

“My fave Chuck Norris joke: Chuck doesn’t flush the toilet, he scares the shit out of it,” King wrote, before sharing another quip: “When he was born, Chuck Norris drove his mother home from the hospital.”

He ended on a more earnest note, adding, “Seriously, I thought he was great. Silent Rage scared hell out of my boys… and me.”

Actor Lorenzo Lamas, who once trained at Norris’ martial arts studio, also paid tribute, writing, “My prayers to Gina, Aaron and family. Watch out evil world, there is an angel of consequence at the gates. Chuck Norris doesn’t just get wings, he gets even.”

Meanwhile, singer Donny Osmond recalled being introduced to Norris by Elvis Presley, crediting the action star for shaping his early performance career.

“Elvis introduced my brothers and me to Chuck to add karate — including teaching me how to break boards — to our act in order to put forth a tougher onstage image,” Osmond shared.

“He taught us Tang Soo Do and pushed us to be stronger in every way. Tough in training, but one of the kindest souls you could ever know. I’ll always be grateful. Rest well, my friend.”
