Patrick Muldoon remembered by ex Denise Richards as ‘best friend’
The duo dated in the 90s
Late American actor Patrick Muldoon is being remembered by many close friends and family, one of them being his former partner.
Model Denise Richards took to Instagram to mourn the late actor who passed away on April 19 in his Los Angeles home.
In a heartfelt post, Denise expressed her grief saying she is “devastated”.
She began “I am deeply heartbroken and devastated losing you. You were my best friend and my family.”
Recalling their first meeting in the 1990s, she said “We met in our first acting class, I was 19 never had an acting job and you were 21 a student at USC doing a recurring role on Who’s the Boss.”
The duo then dated on and off for 5 years before eventually parting ways. Denise then married Charlie Sheen.
After her divorce from Charlie, she and Patrick got close again.
She wrote “And here we are. 36 years later. My whole adult life and I don’t know it without you.”
“We’ve been each other’s rock. Our memories together are endless. You’ve had my back and protected me more than anyone.”
Patrick was known for his work in Days of Our Lives and Melrose Place.
