'Spider-Man 4' director addresses possibility of solo Hulk movie

Mark Ruffalo still hasn’t given up on making efforts to get a standalone movie on his MCU character, Bruce Banner aka The Hulk.

The actor has been playing the iconic role for over a decade now and still is character’s sole outing is persistently wished by fans.

After years of uncertainty of a standalone Hulk movie, the chances seem visible yet again with his return to Spider-Man: Brand New Day.

As per director Deston Daniel Cretton, the Task actor has not left hopes and is still trying to get a solo Hulk film.

According to him, Ruffalo keeps on pitching new ideas for a possible plot of the movie.

In an interview with Variety, the Spider-Man 4 director shared that “Mark has a few pitches. They are pretty good.”

Internet already is excited for a Hulk movie, however, they also think that this is one movie that should have been made years ago.

After Avengers: Endgame, Mark is set to return as Dr. Banner in Tom Holland’s new Spidey sequel also starring Zendaya, Jon Bernthal and Sadie Sink.

The upcoming action sci-fi is slated to hit theatres globally on July 31.
