The boxing world is reeling after Anthony Joshua’s dominant sixth-round knockout of Jake Paul last Friday at the Kaseya Center.
In the wake of the defeat which left the younger Paul brother with a “double broken jaw,” Logan Paul has reportedly vowed to step into the ring to avenge his brother’s honour.
The heavyweight bout, broadcast live to millions on Netflix, saw the former two-time unified champion systematically dismantle the “Problem Child.”
Joshua floored Jake twice in the fifth round before a devastating right hand ended the contest at 1:31 of the sixth. While Jake was rushed to the hospital for surgery to install titanium plates, Logan remained ringside, visibly incensed.
Observers reported Logan heckling Joshua’s corner throughout the match, shouting, “What are you going to do? You’re the old guy now. This could be legacy ender, AJ.”
Following the loss, Logan’s focus shifted to retribution.
Joshua, however, remains focused on a potential 2026 clash with Tyson Fury. Reflecting on the victory, Joshua noted, “It took a bit longer than expected but the right hand finally found a destination.”
From his hospital bed, Jake remained defiant despite the injury, stating, “I’m going to take a little break. I’ve been going hard for six years, but I had a blast.”
