Barry Keoghan, who is all set to play Ringo Starr in The Beatles movie next, has spoken about the look he has been carrying for it.

The 33-year-old Irish actor is currently promoting his new film Peaky Blinders: The Immortal Man along with co-star Cillian Murphy.

In one of the interviews, the Saltburn actor was asked how is he adjusting with the long hair.

Barry told Entertainment Tonight, “Yeah. It’s an effort every day. It’s going brilliant. Just said to Cillian this it’s absolutely a joy.”

He further shared how it feels like working on a big project.

“We’re up in Liverpool filming now, so that’s ort of a thing in itself. The feeling up there and the response up there, it’s just beautiful. It hits you every time”, said Keoghan.

He further recalled going for a jog one morning in Liverpool and coming across the statues of The Beatles four members Paul McCartney, Ringo, John Lennon and George Harrison.

Barry revealed that he got emotional looking at the statues of the four lads on the dock. In that moment, he thought that he would want to do justice with the character.

Directed by Sam Mendes, the four-part Beatles biopic features Keoghan as Starr, Joseph Quinn as Harrison, Paul Mescal as McCartney and Harris Dickinson as Lennon.
