Celebrity blogger Perez Hilton has revealed he recently underwent a frightening medical emergency sharing photos from his hospital stay that left fans concerned.

The 47-year-old took to Instagram on March 21 posting a series of images from his time at Southern Hills Hospital and Medical Center in Las Vegas showing scars on his stomach area with tubes and an oxygen mask being used on him.

“March madness indeed! Have I got a story to tell,” Hilton wrote without revealing what exactly happened.

The post quickly drew attention with several celebrities sending support.

Bebe Rexha, Meghan McCain and Francia Raisa were among those wishing him a speedy recovery.

In a follow-up video he said he will share full details soon he took a moment to praise the hospital staff who treated him.

He said the care he received was “the best” adding that he might not have made it through without the doctors and nurses.

He also gave a special mention to the Filipino medical staff who looked after him during his stay.

He has often shared updates about adjusting to life there but this marks one of his most serious personal updates in recent months.
