Sean Hayes joins season five of 'The Morning Show'

The Cat in the Hat star Sean Hayes is set for a major recurring role in the fifth season of Apple TV’s The Morning Show, starring Jennifer Aniston and Reese Witherspoon, as per Deadline.

He will take on the role of Wyatt, Brodie’s (Boyd Holbrook) clever older brother and manager.

This news comes shortly after Reneé Rapp was reported to have joined the cast for season five.

The 26-year-old singer and actress will take on the role of Samantha, an ambitious rising talent in the UBN news division carving her own path in media.

Additional cast members joining are Jeff Daniels and Jesse Williams.

In season five, she will share the screen with Reese Witherspoon and Jennifer Aniston, who star in the show and are also the executive producers, alongside Jeff Daniels and Jesse Williams.

The Apple TV’s ensemble cast also stars Billy Crudup, Mark Duplass, Nestor Carbonell, Karen Pittman, Nicole Beharie and Jon Hamm.

Sean Hayes has also starred in Will and Grace, The Three Stooges, and more.
