Ronan Keating quietly returned to social media just hours after his ex-wife Yvonne Connolly announced she had married her long-term partner.

Yvonne revealed she had tied the knot with cinematographer John Conroy after 14 years together sharing the news in a heartfelt post.

“I married the love of my life today in New York City enveloped by our 9 children,” she wrote.

“Tears of joy and happiness have been shed and our true love celebrated… I love you more and more every day.”

While messages of congratulations poured in Ronan remained silent on the wedding itself.

Instead the Boyzone star shared a simple post from Sydney uploading a photo with his wife Storm Keating overlooking the ocean.

Captioning the image, he wrote: “Sydney you rock.”

The timing of the post just hours after Yvonne’s announcement did not go unnoticed by fans.

Yvonne and John’s ceremony brought together a large blended family.

Her three children with Ronan Jack, Missy and Ali were all present alongside John’s six children from his previous marriage.

The couple first met in 2011 on the set of the film Dark Touch which starred their daughter Missy.

Yvonne has previously described their connection as immediate.

“For me, it was love at first sight,” she said recalling how their relationship developed during filming.

Ronan and Yvonne were married for 12 years before separating in 2010 following his affair with a backing dancer.

Despite their difficult split they have continued to co-parent their children over the years.
