Dwayne Johnson confirms ‘Jumanji: The Final Level’ wraps production
Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson has officially wrapped filming on the highly anticipated Jumanji: The Final Level.
On Monday, March 30, the 53-year-old actor and professional wrestler took to his Instagram account to announce that production on the franchise’s final chapter has concluded.
"An official FINAL wrap on one of the most fun and pure creative joy experiences I’ve ever had in my entire career - the adventure of JUMANJI," Johnson wrote in the caption, alongside a carousel of photos featuring him with his longtime co-stars.
He added, "I’m a grateful and lucky sob to have had a front row seat to witness this insanely talented cast showcase their comedy chops combined with heart and mana across this 10 year+ long adventure."
"Cheers to my director, writer, collaborator, and friend Jake Kasdan. It’s been my privilege to be directed by you, as we’ve unearthed all these wild characters together in the world of JUMANJI," the Red One actor remarked.
Toward the end of his emotional message, he paid a heartfelt tribute to the late veteran actor Robin Williams, who played Alan Parrish in the original 1995 film, Jumanji.
"And lastly, to Robin Williams ~ this finale is for you." Johnson concluded. "The character of Dr Smolder Bravestone was my absolute honor to play in your spirit with the deepest respect, love and JOY In theaters CHRISTMAS DAY."
When is Jumanji: The Final Level releasing?
Jumanji: The Final Level, starring Dwayne Johnson, Kevin Hart, Jack Black, and Karen Gillan, with Jake Kasdan returning as director, is slated for a theatrical release on December 25, 2026. The date was recently shifted from its initial December 11 slot.
